Falcons vs Eagles Week 2 Injury Report: LB Nate Landman misses practice on Thursday

Three Falcons appear on the injury report to start the week.

It’s thankfully a new week, as the Atlanta Falcons begin preparation for their Week 2 matchup agains the Philadelphia Eagles. Thursday is the first practice of the week because the Falcons are going on the road to face the Eagles on Monday Night Football.

That is going to be a tough bounce-back game, and an even tougher environment to play in. So with that, let’s take a look at the health for both teams.

You can expect to see the injury reports here every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The good news for the Falcons is that tight end Kyle Pitts was not on the injury report to start the week. The things to keep an eye on, though, is that linebacker Nate Landman missed practice with calf and quad injuries and right tackle Kaleb McGary was limited due to a groin issue. Corner Antonio Hamilton Sr., who missed the Week 1 game, remains sidelined with a groin injury and may not play this week. We’ll hope to see Landman and McGary, however.

It could just be a coincidence, but earlier this week the Falcons signed right tackle Brandon Parker. We’ll know more following Friday’s practice.

Looking at the Eagles, their whole team practiced today. They received some positive news as corner Isaiah Rodgers and linebacker Devin White, who missed their Week 1 matchup against the Green Bay Packers due to their respective injuries, returned to practice fully to start the week. It seems like both will be available against the Falcons.
