The fact that Taylor Swift was a no-show for Sunday's Week 3 showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Atlanta Falcons drew nearly as much attention as the fact that the defending champions secured their third win of the season.
More than a few fans out there are dying to know why Swift missed her first Chiefs game of the year after the pop queen was present for the team's first two wins at Arrowhead Stadium for Weeks 1 and 2. While there has been no statement from Taylor yet, the fact of the matter is that she was seen in New York City on Saturday night with supermodel friend Gigi Hadid.
This isn't reason enough for some supporters, though. In the minds of some of them, it's the Falcons who have to be blamed for Taylor's Week 3 absence.

The good news for the Chiefs is that they were still able to secure a win even without Taylor in attendance. While her boyfriend Travis Kelce did not have the best of games, the defending champs were still able to maintain their spotless record after a 22-17 win over the Falcons.
Next up for the Chiefs are the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4. It remains to be seen if Taylor Swift will make the trip to LA to watch her beau in action.
