An observant The Last of Us Part 2 player has stumbled across an awesome connection that revealed how Weston's Pharmacy not only appears in The Last of Us DLC, Left Behind, but also in Naughty Dog's most recent sequel to the franchise. Since the franchise's debut in 2013, there's been no shortage of praise for The Last of Us' harrowing narrative and its stunning yet dark environments filled with unearthly infected who have succumbed to the Cordyceps virus.
A third installment in The Last of Us series has, as yet, not been disclosed by the studio. However, most avid fans would agree that, due to the success of the incredible post-apocalyptic adventure, it feels inevitable. Game director Neil Druckmann has stated that there's "probably one more chapter to the story," and if there is, The Last of Us Part 3 will surely feature more incredible environmental storytelling. Of course, it's not just storytelling that the Santa Monica studio excels at, as the developers of The Last of Us' universe love to add amazing in-world Easter eggs for fans to spot throughout the games.
On Reddit, a Last of Us player discovered that Weston's Pharmacy is found not only in the DLC, Left Behind, but also in Part 2, providing a cool Last of Us Easter egg and a direct connection between both games. Weston's Pharmacy was a chain of drugstores that appeared in Left Behind's Colorado Mountain Plaza, where Ellie and Riley explored together. This location also serves as the wholesome moment where Ellie and Riley come across the Halloween store and the fun area where they both take on a brick-throwing competition.
