Alvin Kamara shares strong opinion on holdouts

"I love this city. I love the fans. I love these people that support me ... These people love me like I'm family & I feel the same way." -- Kamara

The long-time starter at Saints RB made it clear that he would not let his monetary situation prevent him from doing his job as a player and teammate.

Kamara did not directly say that it was selfish for players to miss time due to contract disputes, but that felt like his overall sentiment.

Plenty of notable NFL players have skipped out on practice or even games in recent years due to contract holdouts. Many times, they get resolved quickly, but that is not always the case.

Kamara also relayed support for his new OC. He appreciates that Kubiak trusts him and wants to put him in spots to succeed as the team's main running back.

Kamara will be an incredibly important aspect on the Saints offense in 2024. Kubiak knows that. Fans know that. Everyone should - by now.
