My Best of L.A. 2024: Bozoma Saint John

The newest cast member of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ shares her favorite spots to eat and shop in Los Angeles
 
When asked what is the most L.A. thing about her, Bozoma Saint John, the accomplished industry executive who’s held senior roles at Netflix, Apple, Uber and Endeavor, says: “I don’t go anywhere unless they have valet.” Her favorite outdoor activity? “I don’t spend a lot of time outdoors, unless you consider a yacht outdoors!” 

No wonder she caught the eye of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This fall, Saint John joins the cast — news she revealed by announcing to her half-million @badassboz followers on Instagram, “There’s a BADASS in the HOUSE.” 

She and brings to the show the sort of business savvy originally envisioned by the franchise, but too often lost to the successes of the husbands. Saint John lost her’s in 2013 and has been a single mom ever since. Not that her widow status slowed her down at all. In the decade since, she’s cemented her status as a corporate trailblazer. 

Saint John’s resume includes positions as the Global CMO of Netflix, CMO of Endeavor, CMO of Uber, Head of Marketing of Apple Music & iTunes and Head of Music and Entertainment Marketing at PepsiCo. Outside of workplace endeavors, Saint John is an avid world traveler (look out, St. Lucia!), an author, fashionista and champion of her adopted hometown — in other words, she represents the Best of L.A.

Work Lunch: “Crustacean in Beverly Hills is my go-to spot for lunch meetings because I absolutely adore their dishes; they’re a perfect blend of flavors that never fail to impress. The cozy yet elegant ambiance and top-notch service make it a delightful place to discuss business or catch up with colleagues over a meal.”

Dinner: “Olivetta is my favorite because it feels like stepping into a chic Mediterranean escape right in the heart of the city. The delicious, inventive dishes and warm, welcoming atmosphere make every meal there a memorable and cherished experience for me.”

Designer: “I shop at Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain because I’m inspired by his fearless creativity and the brand’s distinctive blend of luxury and modernity, which resonate deeply with my fashion sensibilities. Knowing that Olivier, the youngest Black designer to lead a luxury fashion house, brings a unique perspective to every collection, makes wearing Balmain not just a style choice but a statement of empowerment and admiration for his achievements.”
