Dave Canales' hidden talent also has a message Panthers fans must hear

Dave Canales has a hidden talent.

Canales, the head coach of the Carolina Panthers, apparently has a great singing voice. On Tuesday, the Panthers' social media release a clip of Canales joining in on the rookie talent show.

Canales sang Bob Marley and the Wailers' "Three Little Birds." The rookie head coach earned a standing ovation. However, in the song were some comforting words for Panthers fans anxious about how the team will fair heading into the 2024 season.

Listen to Canales sing:

The song goes:

"Rise up this morning, smiled with the rising sun/ Three little birds pitch by my doorstep/ Singing sweet songs of melodies pure and true/ Saying, 'This is my message to you-ou-ou'

"Singing, 'Don't worry about a thing'/ 'Cause every little thing gonna be alright'/ Singing,Don't worry about a thing" (Don't worry)/ 'Cause every little thing gonna be alright"

Maybe, in Canales' singing he is sending a message to his team: Don't worry, everything will be alright.

Panthers fans should listen to that message as well.

As for what Canales' team thought about his singing, rookie linebacker Trevin Wallace summed it up best.

“I ain’t gonna lie. I got a little scared," Wallace said last Tuesday. "He almost sounded better me, but he didn’t.”
