Few people outside of Arizona and New York will get to watch the opener
Happy 2024 NFL season, Bills fans! In Week 1, the Buffalo Bills host the Arizona Cardinals at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY. With five primetime games this year, the home opener is one of only a handful of games that the Bills will play in the regular 1 p.m. ET time slot. If you enjoy the early games, this one’s for you.
While Buffalo is coming off another AFC East Championship and an 11-6 record, Arizona could only muster four wins last season. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady will be looking to utilize the Bills’ plethora of new wide receivers while defensive coordinator Bobby Babich will be calling plays on the defense for the first time. It’s safe to say that the team will look very different this season.
Meanwhile, in Arizona, players are excited to be starting a second year under head coach Jonathan Gannon. Quarterback Kyler Murray is extremely talented and fun to watch and this season, he gets the chance to throw to a wide-receiving legend’s son in Marvin Harrison, Jr. Quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills certainly aren’t overlooking this matchup.
If you’re not located in Arizona, New York, Oklahoma or the D.C. area, you might have a tough time watching it, however.
Per 506sports.com, areas in blue will receive the New England Patriots vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, with Ian Eagle and Charles Davis on the call. Areas in green will see a clash of two Florida teams in the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. the Miami Dolphins (Kevin Harlan and Trent Green); yellow portions will be watching the Houston Texans at the Indianapolis Colts (Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber and Jason McCourty); turquoise spots will see the aforementioned Arizona Cardinals/Buffalo Bills game (Tom McCarthy, Ross Tucker and Jay Feely); red portions will be watching one of the late games, which consists of the Las Vegas Raiders taking on the Los Angeles Chargers (Jim Nantz and Tony Romo); and the areas in orange will get to see the other late game as the Denver Broncos go head-to-head with the Seattle Seahawks (Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta).
We know you’re watching the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, but from where will you be tuning in?
