34DE Ben Stille poached off Cardinals’ PS by Bucs

Might have been a tough decision to let the young DE go

Per ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss:

As we outlined during the bubble talks, Ben Stille made a very strong 53-man roster case for the Cardinals, particularly in the way he stuffed the run at the line of scrimmage. All 5 of his solo tackles were stops. He also added 3 assists and 3 QB pressures, for a pre-season PFF grade of 66.5.

• Naquan Jones —- MIA PS
• Phil Hoskins —- DAL PS
• Myles Murphy —- CIN PS

The Cardinals’ run defense this pre-season was ranked 10th in the NFL, per PFF.

DI P.J. Mustipher was added to the Cardinals’ PS last week. Now the team needs a replacement for Ben Stille.

Interesting that the Cardinals’ defensive line depth has been this attractive to other teams.
